I'm trying to get a dinner ADR for Le Cellier for Nov. 30th, Dec 1st or 2nd and have had no luck. I called again today and they still say that it is booked solid. Has anyone had any luck?

Should I say that I have 2 people dining (even though I'm really a solo)?

Or I wonder if I went all out and got the CP package, if the would "find" room for me, a solo diner?

TIA :goodvibes

Just keep trying...you have six weeks until your trip and there are almost always cancellations and/or new seatings opening as you get closer.

If that doesn't work, try even when you get there.

Good luck!

::MickeyMo About 30 days before they tend to open up more ADR's, usually for later times. I'd keep on trying! ::MinnieMo

Show up when they first open for dinner and you will most likely get a seat.

I tried 4 or 5 different nights for the first week of Dec for 5 people and everything was booked. Even the CP packages were booked. I was calling at my 90+10 mark and tried all week. I have called back a few times since then for 2 different nights but nothing was available.

The CM blammed it on the CP and the popularity of the dining plan (Le Celliar is only 1 credit). We are not on the dining plan (AP with DDE card), so that didn't matter to us. We just wanted to eat there! I booked other places instead, but may try again right before we leave. :)

Just keep trying. I had LeCellier for lunch over Thanksgiving Holidays, then I wanted to move it to another day. There was no openings each day I called, but finally I got one a couple of days ago. So just keep calling.

This is crazy. We've never had problems getting into Le Cellier for the last however many years but this year there's nothing available, period. :confused3 We are staying at the GF Concierge Level and they are saying nothing is available. Kinda makes you wonder if that was worth it.

You could also try for lunch, I think its easier to get in! They have alot of similar stuff as far as appys and desserts.

The only way our travel agent could get us a table for 2 in September was to say we were a party of 3 and then we got it. Keep in mind, I did not ask her to do this but when we checked in they acted like it was no big deal and seated just the two of us. So maybe it would work better if you tried booking as a party of 2... It's worth a shot!

We are a party of 5 Me, DW, DS, DD6 and DD1. It was very difficult for us to get a reservation for 5 the last week on Nov. We called at 90 days out at 7am, and we kept getting told everything was booked.

In order to get us in the CM booked us at two tables - one for 4 people and 1 for two. (the CM suggested this booking not me) They said when we show up we should not have a problem getting seated together.

My guess is when we show up they will just put us at the table for 4 and leave the table of 2 open for someone else.

I think they use tables for familys like ours that they don't need to and it makes it difficult for parties of two to get a table.

I just called last night and booked a table for dinner at le cellier for a party of two on Sat. Nov. 19th no problem. I got the time I wanted also. I would check back every day for a cancellation.

I'm keeping this idea in the back of my mind. I'm still working on my itinerary (a loose one) so I'll wait to see what day(s) I'm in Epcot to try lunch. Argh!
I booked Chefs de France as my backup, but I've heard some bad reviews lately. Perhaps that's why I had no problem getting in with them. :confused3

I've been trying for LeCelliers for dinner for the five of us (me, DH, DS11, DD6, DD4) for December 6th since the 90 day mark. So far no luck :sad2: I do plan to keep trying right up to the last minute since its DH's fave!

On the plus side though - I had also been trying to get the My Disney Girl Tea since the 90+10 and got in for Nov 29th yesterday!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc My DD's are going to be so surprised!!

LeCellier has become very popular with the dining plan. They seemed to have underpriced themselves at 1 credit, while other similar restaurants are 2 credits. If your not on the dining plan I would make a reservation at Yachtsman if you are interested in steak. If you like the ambience of a cafe then Chef's du France is very good. What's a bit more expensive and much nicer is Bistro de Paris above Chef's. It is very nice and possibly the best restaurant in Epcot. You should be able to make a reservation there. If your heart's really set on LeCellier then keep on calling or just show up early or late and see if they can seat you.
