That was the only time available for an ADR unless we wanted to eat at 9:45pm so I took it.

How is lunch there? Anything I *must* have?

Thanks! :)

We finally ate at LC after hearing so much about it. I had a chicken sandwich that was simply wonderful. Much better than it sounds. The breadsticks are great - especially the pretzel ones. Can't remember what anyone else had, bad mom, but everyone raved. One of the highlights of the trip.

Love the breadsticks, and the cheddar cheese soup! YUM! :thumbsup2 I think I also had a steakburger that was really excellent! Enjoy!

I just decided to book a trip to WDW for August. So I was late with my ADR's. I also wanted to eat dinner there, but the only time I could get for the whole time I am there is 2:10. I am on the dining plan and was wondering if it was worth it to use my table service for this. I am never this late with ADR's, so mad at myself.

We're gonna be there in August as well and have lunch ressies for 2:20 - changed from 8:40 dinner ressies - and we'll use this as our TS and have our CS later that night - if we're even hungry. From what I've been gathering you don't leave LeCellier hungry!! popcorn::

I don't understand why you think lunch at Le Cellier wouldn't be a good enough deal on the DDP. If you looked at the lunch menu, and randomly picked an appetizer, the steak entrees and dessert, this meal alone would be the equivalent of the cost of a full day on the plan.

Considering you get a snack credit and counter service credit for the day, I'd say you're definitely going to be reaping the benefit of the DDP at lunch.

Sorry about this - meant to ask previously - has anyone had the black bean thing on the menu? Was it good? I LOVE black beans (especially since I don't have a "reaction" to them) so I was just wondering.

I didn't look at the lunch menu. So now I know. I will keep my ressie.

My son and his girlfriend shared the spicy black bean red pepper thing and an open face steak sandwich and they both agreed that the black bean cake was better. We had lunch at Le Cellier three weeks ago. I've already posted this on two other threads today and I'm starting to feel like a broken record, but I wanted to respond to your question!! I just don't want other people to get sick of hearing me say this!!

Ooooh, now I'm embarrassed because I didn't see the other 2 posts you made :rotfl: . You're very kind to the mindless wonder (me  ) and giving me an honest opinion of the black bean thing. I'm going to go for it (and the cheese soup). :hippie: Thanks for your response:hug:

We are going for ,uch too and I booked around the 90 day mark and couldn't get dinner. (90 Days only Because the Unofficial Guide said that when you should book now to find out its really 180 days before!:scared1:

I didn't mean you!! You were the one who I wanted to read my answer!! I just know how some people get tired of reading the same things over and over if it doesn't pertain to them. Give it a try and I will second the cheese soup. I had it last year when we were on the free dining plan and it was very good. When we were there 3 weeks ago, we paid out of pocket for all our meals. I usually don't order appetizers because I get too full for the entree, but I wanted that soup so bad that I ordered it and I was really glad that I did. It was the perfect size bowl for me - not real big, just right. I also had the open face steak sandwich and a chocolate and raspberry smoothie. They have recently changed the steak sandwich and I preferred the old version better, but it was really a nice lunch all around. Le Cellier is always one of our favorites. Have fun!
