Just wondering if anyone has eaten at Le Cellier for lunch. I called last night to change my ADRs because I finally talked DH into trying this restaurant. Of course, it's booked for dinner for our entire stay in Sept. I was able to get a late lunch, and I'm still going to try to call back in a month or two to see if any dinner ressies opened up.

Is it still just as good at lunch? I was looking at the lunch menu, and it still has a pretty good selection. TIA!

I have eaten both lunch and dinner at Le Cellier and equally enjoyed both. I have a lunch reservation for our trip in June. We are not on the dining plan so most of our table service meals will be lunches to save a little money. I had the open face steak sandwich for lunch there a couple of years ago and it was really good. Last summer I had the mushroom fillet for dinner and it was also excellent. I don't think you will be disappointed with your lunch reservation.

We almost always eat there for lunch- the items we typically order are on both menus, but I believe the dinner portions are a little larger (but only a few $$ more) and it seems to be a little easier to get in for lunch. It's one of our favorite restaurants, so you should enjoy either meal there!

I have eaten both lunch and dinner at Le Cellier. This restaurant has gotten just crazy busy for dinner, and I think that lunch is a great alternative. This past January my family ate lunch here and we had a great meal, and wonderful service. There are actually quite a few similarities between their lunch and dinner menus. I had the sauteed shrimp with oven dried tomatoes, Applewood smoked bacon, linguine, fresh arugula and Black Diamond cheddar cream sauce. For dessert I had the duo of sorbet, which included fresh cherry sorbet and a mandarin orange sorbet. Everything was yum!

We had a dinner ADR and switched to the last lunch seating. I like the lunch meanu better (a different veggie option) and I hope it will be less crowded.

Hi! We've eaten lunch twice at Le Cellier! Both experiences great! I had the cheddar cheese soup both times (great); also the mixed field green salad (once with grilled chicken) which was very good. DH had the open faced sirloin or something with an "au jus" (don't see it on the menu) the first time. Last time, he had the petit filet & loved it - thought it was better than one he'd had at a "steakhouse". Dessert - maple creme brulee.

I feel your pain. We were only able to get a lunch ADR. The sad thing is that we had a dinner ADR on 9/8 and we decided to stay at AKL instead of CBR and shortened our stay by one night. But you can look at the menu over on allearsnet and the lunch menu looks pretty good. I've tried to call and see if there were any cancellations and then I decided that it may be a good thing that we can only get in for lunch w/ dinner being so busy.

We did lunch in Feb because we could not get in for dinner. It was still awesome! DH was able to order the BBQ filet, he loves that. I wanted the mushroom filet but the server said they do not have the items prepped for lunch so I had the beef tips with udon noodles, it was out of this world and my order was twice the size of DH filet. If you do not see the caesar salad on the menu just ask the server, they will bring you one.

We went at 3:00 p.m. one day because it was all they had available(we just
called "on the fly"). I'd always wanted to eat there. It was well worth the
wait. :thumbsup2

I'm so glad to hear these positive reviews of LeCellier lunch. Unfortunately, I had a lunch ressie in September that I have to cancel on Monday (the trip had to be cancelled), but now I definitely plan to try it on my rescheduled trip in December.

So glad to hear all the fabulous reviews of LeCellier for Lunch! This is one of the restaurants we want to try on our trip in October! The lunch menu looks good, and is a little cheaper than dinner. I am looking forward to their food!!!:cool1:

It was wonderful for lunch. The only disappointment was they didn't have the maple bbq sauce filet for lunch. I asked for the bbq sauce and said I would just put it over my steak, no big deal. It didn't taste the same though as it was tart and for a very small portion of the sauce they charged me $1.99!:scared1: It was the same size of the small container of ketchup that my daughter asked for. I was surprised they charged for this at all! I didn't take even a spoon full as it tasted bad, so it was a waste of $1.99 for me. Oh well.

We ate lunch here before we had dinner, thought it was terrific, and it remains one of our favorites! Clever menus for both meals and we have enjoyed everything we have ordered.

We love it at lunch! Portions are a little smaller, which suits us fine. But prices are a little smaller too! ;)
