Le cellier favorite meal?

Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup! I wiped that bowl clean! (Pretzel bread is good for getting every last drop.)

I enjoyed the filet, too, but if they had a CS in Canada that sold just the cheese soup, I would be happy.

I prefer the soup over the steak. Now, I haven't been to WDW since 2007, so things could of changed. I feel like this trip coming up is like a first time visit. So much has changed and I feel like I'll never do enough research, lol

ds likes the soup but personally it just tastes like salty cheese fondue. Love the mushroom filet and the crème brulee
DS also likes their milkshakes, DH their sorbet and DD the pretzel rolls :)

The last two times at Le Cellier were disappointing, so it is off our list. Everything was sooo salty...soup, filet and risotto.

We always ate at Le Cellier every trip until our trips in 2013. Ate there early 2013 food was not same quality. We always eat the Filet, fluffy mashed potatos and mac and chesse. Filet was tough. Never had a tough filet before. Everything else was ok - not the best but Ok. Although we've eaten there several times before and everytime everything was great, I thought well every resturant has an off day. Our next trip was mid year 2013. Even though our last meal was bad and the lunch and dinner service were now considered signature, we wanted to try it again. This meal was worse. The filet again was tough, salty and just bad. The mashed potatos were no longer on the menu and the Mac & chesse was overcooked and greasy. It was so bad I conferred with my wife just to make sure it wasn't just me and she confirmed hers was bad as well. I complained to the staff and I was given a thank you for the feedback and that since becoming signature dining thier menu and preparation of the food had changed and no longer had the same taste. I had to raise the BS flag on that one but to no avail. I did email and call guest relations afterward and got the Disney de-escalation thank you and they will inform the appropriate people.

It used to be our favorite place to eat (for about 7 times) but now it's on our list of worst dining along with the Coral reef resturant.

I haven't had the nerve or stomach to try it again. I hope it gets better.

The Angus NY Strip! (Mushroom filet a close second)

Filet - the soup is too salty for us (though sometimes that risotto is too!). The filet at Yachtsman blew that one away though... :rolleyes1

I have always gotten the mushroom filet and it is fantastic, but this past Feb I went and just wasn't in the mood for steak (strange right...) so I ordered a vegetarian meal that they recently added to the menu. Oh My Goodness! I think it was the best meal I have ever eaten in my life!

Roasted Forest Mushrooms - butternut squash, braised escarole, fire-roasted sweet peppers, parmesan, spiced maple beurre noisette $27.00

It was so flavorful, I will be ordering this again and again. I told waitress that this was a fantastic addition to the menu. She said the feedback had been overwhelmingly positive.

We thought it was just us! Unbearably salty, every bit of it, the strip steak too. Three times, so not a fluke. Enjoyed the maple creme brûlée though. If I returned, I would try the lobster poutine.

Why don't they have a CS and just sell the soup and pretzel bread?
