I've been going through the posts, a little bit, a am glad to see other Canadians on this site. A little back ground on us, hubby is with the Canadian Army and we are posted to Colorado Springs. Let me tell you, when I get home to visit I have a nice Canadian BBQ'ed rib eye steak, some KFC and Tim Horton's (even though the donuts have declined since we left Canada) I also pick up all the Salmon (canned) I can carry home, chocolate bars and Oreos and Fudgies I can stand to walk around with. The steak here in the US has a much different taste, a lot of that is the steroids they use in their meat. I respect everyone's thoughts though and I just like Canadian meat more, that might be an issue that you prefer what you were raised with though.
Anyway, we are heading to WDW in the beginning of December and are cruising on DCL on December 10th. Has anyone heard of Canadians having to surrender their passports on ship? I've seen info on having to present it but nothing on surrendering it, however, some other people have written that Disney keeps your Passports for the whole cruise. Anyone have info on that?
Thanks for the help;
We do have to hand over our passports when cruising regardless if it is Disney or Carnival they all have the same rules on that issue.
