Le Cellier & DDP (not a signature ?)

For Le Cellier and DDP, is there a set menu or not? I thought I read somewhere that it was.

Any examples as to what is on that?

No there is no set menu with LeCellier when you are on the DDP.

There is a 3 course meal a "prefix" meal that includes an appy with it, that you can get on the DDP. You just can't substitute anything on it.

Other than that everything at LC is allowed on the DDP.

You are aware that LC will be a 2TS credit restaurant starting March 2011? For dinner that it, lunch will continue to be 1 TS credit.

I think in Le Cellier, they call the Prix Fixe menu "Chef's Choice"...at least that's what the server called it last year. Allears listings seem to match my recollection of the choices, and it lists the choices as (choose one from each category, no other choices allowed):
Appetizers
Mixed Field Greens
Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup
Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage

Entrées
King Salmon Two Ways
Salt-crusted Prime Rib
Sautéed Potato Gnocchi
All Natural Chicken Breast

Desserts
Maple Créme Brulée
Canadian Chocolate Moose
Seasonal Sorbet

If you're on the dining plan and you really want an appetizer at no extra charge, this is the way to do it. But one problem with all of the Prix Fixe menus at all of the restaurants that offer them is that the Prix Fixe menus do not include the high-end entrees...so for example, if you had your heart set on the Mushroom Filet at Le Cellier, you'll have to pay out of pocket for the appetizer because you can't get the filet on a Prix Fixe choice.

Also...my recollection is that if you purchased the Candlelight Procession package, that was also a prix fixe menu last year.

I couldn't believe that I called 180 days out and the best we could get was 4:45p, but I'll take it!

Between Le Cellier and Boma, I don't know which one I'm more excited about!
