I am not upset more disappointed. I called at 5am this morning and the only time we could get in is at 8:50. He told me that there are quite a few ressies for parties of 4 & 6 but nothing for the 5 of us. I am very worried that since the hotels cater to families of 4 we will have the same problem with all our ressies. Please someone with 3 kids tell me that not all places are going to be this hard to get into.

That doesn't make any sense? If they only had reservations for 4 I could see it, but a party of 5 sits at the same size table as a party of 6. I think I would be tempted to make a res for 6 and show up with 5.

Call back and tell them you are a party of 6. Many times the CM's will hint for you to do this so you get a table. When you check in tell them a member of your party was sick

I may get slammed for suggesting this but so many people do this and not admit to it:rolleyes1

I already made the ressie for 5 how can I call back for 6?

i believe there is something fishey going on here, i got my Le Cellier ADR for mid august 6 weeks ago and could only get 8:50. a freinds DD called a week ago and could only get 8:50 and now this. i think they are putting people where they want them instead of where they want to be.

I don't think that is the case. LeCellier books up quickly and is a small restaurant. It's capacity is half that of the Italian restaurant. People were calling in February for LeCellier ADR's and got the better times. This is one of the most popular restaurants on property.

I have gotten every ADR I wanted with my family of 5 on our past trips.

We are 7 and got every ADR we asked for. Only thing we were told is we might not be at the same table. We got into Le Cellier for last week in July with no problem. I think our ressie is 5:40pm. I would call back and try to reschedule to a better time, even if you have to tell them you are now going to be 6 people.

We also had a difficult time getting a table at LeCellier. I am not sure when you are going, but I called at 7:00 AM, the very first second that we could make our reservations for our December trip and was unable to get a table for 6. We ended up having to do 2 tables close to eachother. The only thing they had for a party of 6 at one table was also 8:50 PM. I read somewhere on DIS that they block out tables for the Candlelight Processional.

we're going in december and are a party of TWO. does anyone think we'll have problems getting a reservation at le cellier?? :confused3

I too called early for LeCel ressies. I too got 8:50 PM. Two things, however. My kids are teens so I don't have hungry youngies to worry about. Secondly, we now have some family members joining us on our trip :woohoo: but I couldn't expand our table from 3 to 6 :headache: , so we made late lunch ressies. Have you considered doing a late lunch (same menu) or is your heart really really really set on dinner? Personally, my son and I are going for the cheddar soup.

What time are you having luch? I usually don't like to eat a real heavy meal at 11 or 12 but it might work later on. I had no idea that the menu was the same

i understand that but if you look the 8:50 popped up twice in the next 3 posts. i think they are filling the illuminations times because that would be the least busy with everyone in the park crowded around the world showcase fence

I didn't even think of that. Now I am evenmore upset. If I keep my 8:50 ADR we will miss Illuminations. Now I don't know what to do.:headache:

Last year I booked at exactly 180 days out and got a table for 2 at 6:30

I originally had to make a ressie for 8:50 for a party of 8 but I called back a few days later and was able to get an earlier dinner. Also, I was under the understanding that the lunch and dinner menus are slightly different.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the dining plan? I called for Sat. July 14 (Lecellier), and not as soon as I could, (but I can't remember the date) and got 7pm. We are not on the DP this time, and there is only 2 of us. But I had that early and late problem last year, when we were on the dp. :confused3
