Le Cellier ADR's

We didn't decide to go to Disney until after the 90 day mark had past. I used the GF CL Planning staff to make my ADR's, which included LeCellier. Well no suprise here there were no dinner times our entire stay. They did manage to get a lunch ADR, so I had accepted that fact and moved on.

Yesterday morning I get and email from the Disney Dining system with my confirmation number for my LeCellier dinner on the first night of our stay. Needless to say I was extremely happy. Thanks to the planning staff for staying after that all elusive dinner reservation. When we first decided to stay CL, I didn't think them making my ADR's was a big deal. Now it's a different story. I would have never kept calling back in to check on cancellations, I would have just settled for the lunch ADR that I had.

I think I will keep my lunch ADR and eat there twice. :goodvibes

My ADR date for our new trip plans hasn't come up yet, but for our original dates all I could get for dinner was a reservation with our party of 6 split up between two tables. Getting a table for 6 there seems to be tough, even at 90+ out. I've got a couple of backup plans for Sept, but if I can't get it on the day I want I'm not going to rearrange things to make it fit. I'll either get it for dinner on either of our two Epcot days, lunch on our second Epcot day, or it'll wait until the next trip.

Really, after dining there twice during our current vacation, this place is WAY overrated. Really. I wouldn't sweat it if I couldn't get an ADR here. In fact, I was just online checking reservations for our upcoming July trip and I had an opportunity to book Le Cellier for dinner and I passed on it to book Teppan Edo. YMMV.

I almost did but I decided to try and get LeCellier for dinner. I have lunch ressies but I wanted Prime Rib:cloud9: (which is not on the lunch menu). I've been trying off and on :surfweb: with no luck. I tried the online system once more this evening before going to bed and there was one for August 31st at 8:25pm. Now I get to try the lunch and dinner menus. :cheer2:

I haven't eaten at Le Cellier since 2003, when it was very easy to get a booking.

Called yesterday for my upcoming trip on my 90+10 and could only get a lunch at 2:45pm on the 24th...! Took it, but am not thrilled. We'll have to have a big breakfast and count this as a very early dinner I suppose! (I doubt we'll be hungry for anything other than a snack the rest of the day.) I don't think it lives up to all the hype (don't remember it being that amazing) but I am craving a bowl of that soup!

Thank you all for your replies on this thread - the time for booking was today aaaaaaaand.......

Got Le Cellier sorted for all 12 of us (2 tables of 6) using the online ADR system, for the exact time we wanted (6pm)!! :cool1:

:thumbsup2

Now, I'm having a HARD time finding a ressy for Tusker House on Sept 26th between 8 - 8:30am

(But I did get a Le Cellier ADR for 2 for Oct 1st at 7:55pm using the online system  )

I used the online system, and we actually wanted a lunch ressie, but I was curious if I could get a dinner one and at six am on the day I could schedule my ADR's, plugged right in, and there was a six pm ressie available for Le Cellier on October 5th I believe. I released it right away so someone else could nab it, got my lunch, and made the rest of my reservations.
