Has anyone eaten at Le Cellier 2x on their trip? once for the steaks, and possibly the second time for burgers all around? Not in the same day. 5 days in between. Sound crazy?

Nope. There are so many different restaurants - especially in EPCOT - there's no way I'd eat in the same restaurant twice in a trip. In fact, we are eating at all new place this trip - no repeats - because we are widing our horizons.

BUT, we have eaten at LeCellier 3 seperate times, and have thought it just okay...and won't be eating there again anytime soon. I just don't see what all the fuss is about.

kind of what I thought! We are so sad that Tutto is closed for refurb. That is where we had an ADR, :confused3

I haven't, but I totally would. In fact, that may be the only way I get to try anything else on the menu besides the filet, because we go so rarely, I always want to get my favorite dish ever! Five days in between would be enough time, IMO.

I generally agree with ReneeA about trying new places, but so far LC is our only "must-do" that we make a reservation for every trip, and it's the only TS place we've been to more than once, period. So...I'd be willing to make an exception for LC and make twice-in-a-trip ADRs for it!

Crazy? NO. Smart? YES.

I'd do it. We loved Le Cellier for lunch last month. Heck, I'd even go back the same day if that was the only ADR I could get.

On one hand it seems nuts to me with so many restaurants but on the other hand we only go once a year?! We were going to do Le Cellier, and Tutto. But once Tutto let us know that they were closing we took another LC just to have something and as it gets closer I can't seem to get excited about the other places, we have been to Beirgarten every year for the last 15 years! :scared1: LOVE it, but decided to take a break, Garden Grill got vetoed by my family even though I LOVE it. Teppan Edo is OUT because of our mishap there last April. And the others just seem eh. Some of the CS places are so yummy that I figure we could get a sampling of different foods at Dinner, while having something yummy at LC. Its cool dark and calm in there, which is why I think we like it ( and the Filet :lovestruc) Sorry to ramble. There is still availability at lots of places, so still time to decide!

If you are looking for italian why not try Via Napoli? I actually prefer it to Tutto.

Having said that, since Le Cellier changed their menus and lunch and dinnner are now so different, I would indeed make 2 ADR's in one trip.

thanks for the ideas everyone! Via Napoli is not really what we had in mind. The entree dishes are very limited, and we don't want to have just a pizza and dessert. My kids love the pizza at WPE for a cs. UNLESS someone has eaten anything there besides the pizza that was amazing! The LC adrs we have are both for lunch. One day we were going to get dinner from Mexico/China, and another day from Morocco and ??. So these would be for lunches. MAYBE? :lmao:

I hear ya ;)

In that case, how about taking a 5 minute walk over to the Boardwalk and trying ESPN for something different. They don't take reservations but at lunch it's usually not difficult to get a table.

I'll be there in 2 weeks but I'm still fiddling around with my ADR's! :lmao:

Debbie Jean, what did you like at Via Napoli? Not interested in ESPN, I have 2 boys that dislike sports :confused3 We want to stay in Epcot ;) So its either keep both ADR's for lunch, or try Via Napoli for dinner, Marrekesh for dinner, or go back to my beloved Farmer Mickey at Garden Grill!!:flower3:

I don't like Le Cellier enough to do that, but if you do, go for it. 5 days in between isn't like you're eating both lunch and dinner there the same day.

Hi there,

We had booked two reservations there last week but after the first, cancelled the second straight away.

It was one of THE worst meals that both my husband and I have had over the last 10 years visiting Florida. The meal was incredibly salty. I had the Cheese soup and a few mouthfuls were enough, then the steak came along which I was really looking forward to and this too incredibly salty. My husband had to ask for a salad to accompany it to balance out the saltiness!!

I really do think that it has become so popular due to all the hype that surrounds it, I certainly wouldn't book it again once, let alone twice!!

Oh NOOOO!!! :sad2: that doesn't sound good. We don't get the soup anyway. Only entrees. No idea what to do.....

We eat there 4 times every trip. Tried the burger once and regretted it. Not that it was bad the Filet is just that good. We stay 12-14 days though. I have 4 scheduled this trip but debating going a 5th time! Yeah we are crazy.

Well, for us Via Napoli is all about the pizza :goodvibes Not a good choice for you though. I've never eaten at Marrekesh so I can't speak to that but I'm thinking your boys may really like the belly dancer! :lmao:

If you like the lunch menu at Le Cellier and you can snag the reservation, then go for it! :thumbsup2

We ate there twice on one trip during the week between Christmas and New Year's. I got the filet both times, too.

(We hoped to get a meal there with the Candlelight Processional package, but couldn't make that reservation until a few months later. So we booked Le Cellier for New Year's Eve in case we couldn't get the CP package earlier in the week. However, the CP reservation with Le Cellier came through, so we decided to keep both reservations.)

The funny thing was the two or three groups of people ahead of us at the check-in desk trying to get walk-up seating during dinner hours on New Year's Eve. One guy kept saying, "You don't have anything?!" in a disbelieving tone of voice. :rolleyes1

My family has done that! If you like the place, there is nothing wrong with going more than once on a trip. It's not like you can just pop-in whenever you've got a craving for it! (I wish I lived that close...)

I'm happy at either lunch or dinner because both menus have cheddar cheese soup and the filet with mushroom risotto. My mom has had the Le Cellier burger and loved it. She said it was one of the best burgers she's had. She also raved about the ribeye at dinner.

With regards to VN, I also like that place. The pizza is really good. The menu is the same all day, so it doesn't matter if you go at lunch or dinner.

If you like it go for it - I have the same breakfast every morning - strawberries and pancakes at Port Orleans Riverside - and we always eat at least twice at the Yatchman's Steakhouse - yum yum

the pictures of the pizza looks good from Via napoli, but an individual pizza and a dessert for 1TS? Is the pizza larger than the individual pizzas they serve at WPE? It may be a contender ;) As far as the Belly Dancer goes, my husband would like it, my boys would be very embarrassed! We like to stop and watch Mo'rockin when they are performing and my younger son would keep pulling on my arm to get moving!
