Le Cellier’s Steak and Potato Skillet

My father ordered this in late October. He liked it enough to order it when we went back to Le Cellier for a second lunch. He said it had good flavor and that the meat was cooked as ordered. The only thing he didn't like was the blue cheese, so he had that removed on the second skillet. Here is a picture of it:

My husband had it in December. Said the steak was good but the potatoes were like boxed hashbrowns. Didnt think it was worth it.

I agree with that - the potatoes were pretty greasy, and the steak portion is so small relative to the amount of potato that it wasn't really a good choice overall.

I'm not so sure I could get past how it looks to let it get past my lips.

I just had it during Christmas weekend in Disney...I thought it was good... I believe the potatoes might have been greasy due to the amount of butter in the sauce, my sauce in the skillet was a little broken (separating) which mixed with the potatoes and made them oily, also my onions got soggy from the dish..but the flavor was right on. I ended up taking the pretzel bread and scraping the sides of my skillet.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and was not impressed. The meat was tender and potatoes were ok. I would not order it again.

You make the skillet sound yummy I might have to give it a go, instead of my beloved fillet!
