I am LDS (Mormon) and will be participating in the DCP for Spring Advantage this coming year!! I was just interested to find out if any other CP's past and present have had any interesting experiences in regards to our faith. This is of course open to others as well!!

The ward down there is amazing. A friend of mine is the relief society president and they have a great time. For the past like 5 years they've been meeting in a hotel close to property but now they have a building on Reames Rd behind the magic Kingdom. There are a lot of people from BYU and from other schools. The ward does a great job in finding ways to make activities to accessible to all ward members since not too many bring cars. I love the ward and miss it, it is mainly CP's but there are some locals to help make things stable since people are usually only there for a couple months.

Does Disney work with you at all so that you can attend church every once in a while? I don't expect to be able to go every Sunday but it'd be nice sometimes.

Greetings from BYU Provo. I too will be starting the college program in April too. This will be my first time, so I can't wait. From what I've heard the ward has sacrament twice, once in the morning and once in the evening, so that everybody can attend. Hopefully some veterans will post some concrete details.

It depends on your scheduler. For those that are coming from BYU you can get a letter to give to your scheduler to ask for time off. When I did my first college program I was a lifeguard and always worked the night shift that started at 3:30 so I was able to attend church even though I had to work. They do have 2 sacrament meetings so that those who work during the day can attend at night. There are no guarantees, just work hard and prove your self so that your managers and schedulers like you and can depend on you.

Thanks you guys so much!! I don't go to BYU and I was worried that attending church was going to be a problem! It is a huge relief to know that there are two sacrament meetings.
