We are on the ddp and going to lecellier for lunch. my question is on the appy choices my kids (teens) are not going to eat any of those choices will they let them sub something more kid like or are we stuck with the adult appys? Thanks
i have this same type of question. i have a 10 year old who will be on the adult DDP but would rather eat the kids' meal food. do they allow 10+ kids order from the kids menu??
I have never done DDP so I don't know how it works points wise. But they always let my sister and brother (13 and 16) choose from the kids menu when we go. We have never been questioned about their age or forced to choose from the regular menu.
When we were there last Aug. during Free Dining I found the restaurants to be extremely accomodating to kid's requests - my then 12 yo son was considered an adult on the DDP but he was allowed to order off either the adult or kids menu depending on his tastes. In fact, there were times when he ordered an adult appy and meal, but a kids dessert ( he had to have the Chocolate Moose at Le Cellier!). I do have to say they seemed very willing to work with the kids at the restaurants (at WCC they made his nachos with cheese only and left out the "icky" toppings).
Le Cellier is very flexible. They have some of the best managers on Dis property. Just ask. This is why Le Cellier is one of our favs. They will truly bend over backwards.
