We're looking for a sofa bed for the spare room. The ones we like best seem to all be made by Lazy Boy. Has anyone experienced how comfortable they are? How well do they hold up? We saw some that had a small pump and a mattress that blows up. It seemed more comfortable. But how quick and convenient is that to do if you're using it every night? Anyone experienced Lazy Boy?

MY parents have both passed away and the lazy boy they bought when I was born (they slept on it so I could have my own room) is still in tip top shape, the only thing they had done years ago was reupolseter 9SP) it.
OBTW I just turned 49 it it is that old. :cool1:

We have a lazy boy leather sleeper couch that we bought about five years' ago. The couch has held up beautifully-it looks as good as it did the day we bought it. It is also very comfortable to sit on. (We have a sleeper sofa at our lake cabin which is not comfortable to sit on, but it's not a lazy boy).

We don't use the sleeper part very often. The kids occasionally use it when they have friends spend the night. I think it's pretty comfortable as far as sleeper sofas go and the matress has held up pretty well.

Just yesterday our new Lazy-Boy sleeper sofa was delivered (and a recliner too). It's a queen size with the inflatable air mattress that you mentioned.
We ordered it July 4th weekend & they told us delivery would be in 8-12 weeks (special order) but it came yesterday!

We haven't inflated it yet but today DH said we should soon. I wanted to get just the regular mattress because I'm afraid it WILL be a pain to inflate with the pump...and I'll be the one stuck doing it. DH was insistent on the air mattress.

DH wanted the inflatable air matress because he thinks the regular mattress in the Lazy-Boy sectional we have is uncomfortable. We've had that sectional for about 5 years. I love it!
