Layover in Orlando

We have a flight that has a 3 hour layover at MCO. Would we be OK to go back to the main terminal for shopping/lunch or would we need to stay airside? Has anyone done this and had any issues? Thanks in advance

Provided you have boarding passes, I don't see why you couldn't go back to the main terminal. Just make sure you allow time to get back through security (can be LONG at MCO).

If you're willing to go through security again, go for it. They have food/shopping after security:
