Layout of Category 10 rooms

Don't I recall some discussion about Disney's floorplan for category 10 rooms being inaccurate? Is there actually any difference between the room itself for category 10 through 5?

Not that it really matters, I guess, where the bed and sofa are, but I am just mentally trying to figure this out. Thanks for any info!

I think the discrepancy on the DCL website had to do with Cat 8 and 9 cabins. In the floorplan it shows the bed closer to the window when in fact onboard, the sofa is closer to the window.

Not sure about the Cat 10's.

The Cat. 10s have the same floor plan as the Cat. 5-7, just without the verandah.

Are you sure about that, Michelle? I thought the Category 10's had the bed further away from the hallway door (with the exception of the Secret Porthole Rooms which are configured like the Category 8 and 9's).

I can only speak for our Cat 10 which was on our first cruise, a 3 day. Cat 10 on Deck 2. When you walked in you were in the living area with the sofa, TV, desk, etc. After you passed thru that area there was a curtain and then the queen size bed.

This was the opposite of our Cat 5 room on our 4 day this year which had the bed first and then the living area by the veranda door.

There are actually two different category 10 floorplans. The 6 Cat. 10 rooms on deck 5 (secret porthole rooms) have the same layout as categories 8 and 9 with the entrance leading to the bedroom area, then the curtain and then the sitting area. All other cat. 10 rooms have the sitting area between the entrance and the bedroom area.
