Layout Challenge -- July 19 thru August 9 --Winner Announced

Nice :)

Nan I love the way you merged the 2 sketches! It looks fabulous!!!!!

Lisa, luv your nautical lo. The bright colors look great with your pics and fit the challenge theme to a T.

Nan, your los are great, too. They make me want to be laying on a beach somewhere listening to the waves roll in. I love how you combined the two sketches. I need to lift this. It looks like a good way to use up some scraps. Annie chose some great sketches, didn't she. I was unfortunately not far enough along on my current three swaps to join that one, but it sure was tempting. I've challenged myself to use a lot of them on next month's los.

Thanks for participating in the challange, ladies. Great job!:thumbsup2

Just a reminder --this challenge will end on Tuesday night, and I will be chosing a winner Wednesday morning.

I already submitted my layout earlier. Here are two layouts I just did for the sketch swap that I thought I would share that fit the theme :goodvibes

Flocked clouds, stickled sun, and a lot of chalking! Hard to see by the picture!

So cute Reddy!! I just need to go to your blog, download, and cut all day- some day :goodvibes You do awesome work : )

Great LO Reddy!!!

Isn't that the truth Michelle.. Maybe you can pull a sick day from work and tell them there is a blog that needs your undivided attention!!!

I love everyone's layouts. Great work! :thumbsup2

Good morning, ladies. I  the new layouts. Sorry I missed these the last two days. My allergies have been giving me fits, and on Friday morning, I broke out the heavy duty allergy meds, and then spent the rest of the day in a haze. Yesterday, we celebrated my granny's 90 birthday with a big party for the whole community. I spent the day cooking, celebrating, and then cleaning. Then we had to finish our back to school shopping. It was a long day.

Michelle, your los for the sketch swap are terrific! I love the colors and the chalking. I tend to reach for my ink pads, but I really like the subtle effect the chalk has. I need to get mine out and leave them on the table, so I don't forget about them. Great job!

Cheryl, your cruise lo is awesome, too. Looking thru the cruise swap thread makes we really want to try one someday, but I don't think I can talk my DH into it. I love the sand paper and the strip with the footprints. Did you stamp those? My sister spend a week on the beach with her family this summer, and I promised to help her scrap the trip. I may need to lift this for her.

Reddy, luv your layouts, too. Those paper piecings are amazing, as all ways. I'm assuming those are on your blog? I agree with Michelle -- I need to set aside a day to get everything downloaded. I'm getting ready to start scrapping this year's trip, and I plan on using a lot of your files. Thanks for sharing your lo and your scal awesomeness with us!

Thanks to all you ladies who joined the challenge. We have a winner -- chosen at random -- and it is wdwmickey. Congrats!!

Yeah, Cheryl, bring on the next challenge!!!

Well, I'm so surprised! I'll try to get something up tomorrow.
