Layout Challenge #7

Great layouts, Ryan and AWM!

I should really try to do something for this challenge. All the circle pages are looking so fun!

AWM - meant to tell you that I love that paper - is it one from your stash or a recent purchase?

Here is mine. All elements made from scratch yesterday. :)

What the heck does the title say? SN**...._ _ _ _?
It's be driving me crazy...because I want to lift the LO not exactly the title but if it fits! LOL Might as well let you handle the title too! LOL

As for cramming as many photos on the page as possible..that is SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOO Me!

PLAY. I used the mini monogram cart and only used the non swirly letters. Didn't want to glue in all those tiny pieces. So the capitals aren't really where they should be. I used circle/shadow - tag/shadow there are four layers there.

Thank you! I was like what the heck does it say? RIDE, SLIDE (nope to long), DAYS, SN** (written twice because of the lack of caffine), BOYS..

I have some photos of my boys "skiing" on their sleds and thought that LO would be perfect!!!

Stash :thumbsup2

It came from a Christmas stack that I got back in 2006. When I first started all this. :)

Oh my stash is huge! DH was looking for something yesterday and started going through all the bins in the dining room and said "Are you kidding me, is this all scrapbooking garbage?":headache:

;) My DH is an enabler. He went to Tuesday Morning because someone on another thread said they saw Heidi Grace paper there and he went so I wouldn't spend too much $$. :rotfl2: He came back with 3 12x12 album kits, 6 6x6 album kits, 12 12x12 page kits, and multiple paper packs. :rotfl2: $174 later. Guess what my Secret Sister is getting some of. :teeth:

It is very basic....but this is how I'm doing all team/indiv. photos...the game photos are a bit more elaborate LOs....

Here is mine. Obviously I am not eligible for the prize. These challenges just really motivate me. :)

I used my CM circle cutter for the title and journaling box (even though I didn't really journal). I also used my circle embossing folder on my cuttlebug and inked it for the title circle.

I love how you used the little round buttons. It's a great touch.

Can I join? Is there rules somewhere??

I just did the PERFECT layout for this at a crop on Tuesday, so I would LOVE to enter this contest!!

Amy

The rules are only what you see in the original post and has to be done recently *usually the week of the challenge*...

Please feel free to jump right in and join us!!!

:welcome:

Thanks everyone!!!!
I've got more in the works..but have to go to town tonight to buy DS12 dress clothes for BB games (the joy of wearing Sunday best to school.... erk!)
Tomorrow is dedicated to ball games all mornin/afternoon..
maybe I can get some pages done tomorrow!!! Lots of ideas floating in my head!!! Just need the time!!!!

Nancy --

I love what you did with the layout. I haven't done any of my kids team/individual sports photos yet. I think I like your idea. Keep it simple and I'll keep it pretty much the same from year to year to highlight the kids' growth.

Here are my pages. I'm pleased with how they came out, but it took me forever to find papers I liked together. This is a direct scraplift from one of the Sept. 2008 page maps.

The whole layout....

You can't really tell, because the photos look a bit washed out, but I got to use my Cricut Accent Essentials for the circles!

Thanks for looking and thanks for posting a fun challenge!.............P

That looks great! I think I have that same paper. Maybe I can scraplift your scraplifted layout:rotfl:
