I've been fighting with my internet connection/photobucket all night to try to upload photos of my layout with books!!! I guess I'm missing today's deadline ....... I tried! Maybe if I can get the photos to upload, I'll share anyway.

Okay - I'm trying AGAIN to post photos of my layout with the "book" theme .... I couldn't get anything to cooperate last night & we're having storms today which is mesing with my internet connection (satellite)

I know I've missed the challenge deadline & this is my first time participating here, but I just thought I'd share my work for the sake of community I love sharing ideas & getting inspiration from others!

Must be nice to have a me day! It is icky here too, therefore DS and daycare child are running around like stir crazy monkeys! My scrapping will have to wait until naptime.

Funny thing, I found my self sorting thru my mounds of disney swap elements.... had a game plan ready...and DS12 came down and asked if we could go do something together.. after I picked myself up off the floor, I ran for my coat, my keys and my money and said "heck ya, come on!".. He is my home body...so for him to want a mom and me day I ran...and forgot my camera... drat! But we had a great talk and he just amazes me....

I got real busy with work and an unwell DW this week. This "working for a living" thing is ruining my life! Anyway, I sent the link for this thread to my scrapbooking friend and asked her to help choose a winner. Hopefully I can present the results tomorrow or maybe even tonight!

thank you so much ... once I cut the books, they looked kinda plain, so I decided to "emblish" with titles .... I was going for books that my friend's daughter could relate to ... the whole book is Disney Princesses, so that's what Belle's reading!

Post away!!! I've done 4 pages today... I'm thrilled!!! I've got several more laid out ready to go...but find myself going back and wanting to tweak other pages from the 2004 trip! I just put post-its on the backs and told myself complete the book and then go back! LOL

Yes, I had a wonderful time with my DS yesterday! He thanked me several times last night... I told him I had a great time too... He said any time you want to offer my dairy queen I'll go shopping with you!
