Well... my other challenge ideas were vetoed by my DD, so here is all I could come up with. And I won't be able to post my example because I am not home... we are hunkered down at my Mom's because we have no power at home!
This week's challenge is unusual or nontraditional use of color. Pink for boys or purple for Christmas or turquoise and orange for Fourth of July (something I have done in the past) are just some examples.
I will run this challenge through December 25th! And if the winner isn't able to post another challenge right away, I'm sure we will all understand!
I have NO IDEA what the prize will be! I will post the prize when I have a chance to get out (no craft stores here near Mom's).
If you don't hear from me for a while, don't be surprised. We may head home even if we don't have power if they open the schools tomorrow.
So get going..... pull out black for Easter pages, orange for Hannaukah, pink and lavender for your baby boy, fuschia for Mickey Mouse... you get the idea!
You can use any amount of the nontraditional color you want.... as a background, a photo matte, an accent, the title. It can be solid cardstock or patterned paper or any combination of the two. It can be a one page, two page, or three page layout with any number of photos.
If/when I get power back I will try to post some examples of this I have at home. READY, SET......... SCRAP!....................P
