Not trying to sound anal, but on Sunday, I put all my DD's outfits together for the week. I hang them all on the left side of the closet so they don't get mixed with everything else. I really want to include her hair stuff, panties and socks so I can just grab and hanger and go, but what should I use to hang those items? I thought about some small disney bags with the holes in th middle, but I wanted other people's advice.

Thanks - Diane :cool1:

My daughter's solution is to just not hang anything up...ever! Now I know she is just "organizing" for the upcoming week. :rotfl: No, I don't mean to make a joke of this, it is just so long since I could even think of even suggesting what DD wears, much less putting it together for her.

I use a basket that's leftover from DS's changing table. In DS's room I have one of those hanging sweater organizers and put his stuff in those compartments.

I don't know if this would help or not. When I was a Cub Scout leader, we made uniform hangers. We took ziplock bags and punched a hole with a hole punch in one corner. We threaded a metal shower hook through the hole and locked it onto a tubular hanger. That way the uniform shirt could hang on the hanger and the tie slide, etc could go in the baggie. I don't know why that wouldn't work for this as well.

What about something like this Hanging Shoe Bag

I was going to mention something just like this. They also make hanging sweater bags. just like the shoe hanger, but each of the "boxes" is a little bigger. That would be best if you want to fir everything for the day in there.

BTW - I am a professional organizer. This is what we use for my DD. It is great. LOTS of places sell these - Walmart, Target, etc. Lillian Vernon also sells one that has each day of the week labeled on each compartment. That is great for young kids to help them learn their days. I've also seen the weekly ones at Garden Ridge.

You just velcro the hanging thing over the closet rod. It keeps everything for each day totally separated. PM me if you need help finding one. There are LOTS online.
