LAX for 4 more hours?

Normally I would never ask the question- LAX or LGB?

I always fly from Reno to LGB via Jet Blue for my annual solo trip (we drive with the kids) and love the airport and the ease to the DLR. JetBlue has cut back the amount of flights from Reno so it offers one non stop. Southwest only goes direct to LAX from Reno.

Southwest lands 6 hours before the JetBlue flight would arrive in Long Beach. Pricing is only $10 less with Southwest (although 2 free bags ). I would Lyft to Grand Californian regardless from whatever airport.

Basically is LAX too much of a hassle to get to and from and not worth the potential 4 hours I would get in the resort? Should I just stick with Long Beach?

Depends on what time the LAX flight arrives...peak time? Maybe stick with LGB. Off peak? LAX and traffic is not THAT much of a hassle IMO.

I'd still probably do LAX regardless for that much time.

I'd go with LAX. Yes, it is extremely busy, but it's still doable. (It's the most convenient to me, so I always fly in/out of LAX.)

LAX would be your best bet really. If you can carry on all your luggage, then you already ahead of the rest of the passengers as they have to wait for bags to unloaded.

Also, you’re going against traffic at that time, so it wouldn’t be too bad at that time.
