lax driving question

Hi,
Our flight time just got changed (Thanks US Air) to much earlier in the day. Now our flight leaves at 9.30am on a Sat . We are staying at the Homewood suites on harbor blvd. What time should we plan to leave the hotel to return the rental car and clear security? Thanks for any info,

I think you should leave no later than 7:00 am from Anaheim.

I'd leave earlier than that-

we flew out of LAX on American Airlines Friday April 15th at 12:56 p.m.
We got to the airport 2 hours in advance (suggested by the airline)
& were glad we did as it took us one hour for security-

maybe it won't be as busy for you since it's a Saturday but I'd rather
be at the gate drinking a cup of coffee than stuck in traffic freaking out because I'm about to miss my flight.
