Lawn care

My lawn is just full of weeds and clovers how do I get rid of them?
I do not want to re-sod is there any fertilizer or spray that can be used.
Anyone have any suggestions please.

I don't know much about lawns, but I do know that it's best not to do anything in the summer's heat. Fall and Spring are the best times. Why don't you just ask in a local garden center.
