Which restaurants have the molten/lava centered chocolate cakes? DH and I are celebrating our anniversary at WDW and he wants that for his "special" cake, so I want to schedule a restaurant that serves this!;)

They serve it as an individual desert at Kona Cafe. They have the chocolate wave at Coral, but it's different.

Thanks n2mm...we have had it at CG and CR, but never at Kona! We have never eaten at Kona...that may be a great idea!:)

And so does the poly-laui.

ohohOH kona.... anyone have a picture of the wave at the coral? I have been going back and forth about making a ressie at the coral reef....

Cake is Fantastic! This is Kona-

By the way, that is how our waiter placed them in front of DH. When he took the order, DH ordered for everyone, and the waiter asked if they were all for him. DH said yes, and the waiter, straightfaced, stacked them all in front of him!

I remember the ones at Rainforest being mini volcanos - triple chocolate... big enough for two/three people... those look tinier.

UPDATE = Found a picture of the cake in this thread!

Its the fifth picture down - and its partly gone - but you can tell it is bigger and enough for more then one person.

The cake at rainforest cafe is not really worth the money we spent on it. There wasn't even melted chocolate in the center. If you want a really good lava cake, then you should get the chocolate wave at the Coral Reef. In my opinion, that is the best dessert I have ever eaten in all of Disney World.

Ours did have a gooey center - Hot Fudge?

We really enjoyed ours :)

Another vote for Kona, although I've never tried Coral Reef. I know that the Kona is my favorite though!
