Well done to everyone for knowing that the picture was taken in
the queueing area for Pirates of the Caribbean
and to so many of you for knowing the story which accompanies the picture:
As the imagineers were keen on chess, they thought it would be fun to add this visual gag. The two pirates were playing chess, reached a stalemate and as neither would give up (being pirates and all), died playing the game.
