Laundry

On the Magic, are there laundries on the 7th, 6th and 2nd floors? Where exactly are they located (they don't seem to be mentioned on the deck plans)? Are the washers really slow (as mentioned in Deb Wills' Magical Disney Cruise Guide)? Thanks!!

Yes, they do have laundry facilities on those floors. From what I remember they're mid-ship. If you need help finding them any Cast Member would be glad to help.

We usually stay on deck 7 (stateroom 7576 - 7578) so I only know that there is a laundry room a few doors down around 7584.

The laundry rooms can be busy, especially toward the end of the cruise.

The laundry on Deck 6 is located directly across from 6588 starboard side. We were on the exact opposite side in 6088, that's how I remember.

Deck 2 laundry is near 2104.

I didn't notice the washers being particularly slow. The dryers aren't the best though. Expect to go through a couple of cycles if you want dry clothes, maybe 3 for denim.

The washers are fine...like 32 minutes for a cycle. THey do have a timer that tells you exactly how long they have left to run. The dryers are not really fast. You need to put it on Whites--on the color setting, the clothes may never get dry. Depending on how heavy the clothes are, it frequently takes 2 cycles to dry things.
