who does laundry in their resorts? what do you bring with you to make it easier and is it better to just bring enuf clothes for the trip and not to laundry on your vacation

I typically do laundry at least once to cut down on packing as we like to use carry-ons only. I bring a few laundry pods and dryer sheets which I put in a small Tupperware container and a laundry bag (though they typically have plastic laundry bags hanging in resort room closets that you can use). They also sell laundry detergent there, so you really don't need to bring anything if you don't want to.

You don't need to bring anything. The laundry rooms have all you need and there is one at every resort! Or if you are staying in a 1 BR or larger villa, everything is in your room. I never did laundry but when I had a baby, everything changed!

We typically do laundry on our non park days just so that there isn't so much to do when we get home. Like most, I bring a couple pods with us and I have never had any issue traveling with them.

I was planning on doing laundry last week while at Art of Animation. However, 2-4 washers were out of service in each laundry room and the others were always in use. There was an actual line to use the dryers

In this situation although a little bit of a walk,might be worth it to head across Generation Gap Bridge to Pop Century-I think the odds of all 6 AoA/POP Laundries being slammed and/or having machines down at the same time would be long.

We don't always do laundry but on our longer trips we have to or we'll be naked.

I pack light for our family and only pack a few mesh laundry bags from the dollar store so it makes it easier to haul them to the laundry room. I also pack some laundry detergent samples and dryer sheets. I don't bother with a collapsible laundry basket, it's not needed for the one load of clothes I wash but if it was going to be substantial it could help and we drive to WDW so we have room for extras. The DVC one bedroom units and larger come with a washer and dryer and usually include a sample of detergent too. FYI to OP- the laundry items available are at a cost from a dispenser, I don't recall prices.

We usually stay at All Star Movies, so always do a mid-week load of laundry while we lounge at the pool. Laundry room is conveniently right next to it! I also grab samples at the trial size sections and bring those with me.

Always do laundry, at least once. You can bring your preferred laundry supplies or buy. Laundry rooms are open 24\7. You use your magic band, (or however you get into your room). Washers and dryers are $3 each. Laundry soap, softener $1 each. Only uses debit or credit cards. At value resorts, laundry rooms are near pools. (Pop has three).
