Laundry?

We will be staying in a deluxe studio. Is there a place to wash clothes? This will be the second leg of our trip and I am sure we will need clean clothes.

They have guest laundry on one of the floors in each tower. If you are a DVC member you can go to quests services and get free tokens for the machines, otherwise they are pay per load.

You just have to be staying on DVC points to get the free tokens. You can receive them whether you are a member or renter.

there are two different laundry rooms one on the bottom floor of each tower. In January when we were there, there were a total of 3 washers working, all 12 dryers were working, it was ridiculous. One night there were multiple people waiting for each washer...and we went during a non-peak time, so you may need to be flexible-early morning or late night to get your laundry done.

Some of the employees did not know that DVC reservations get laundry tokens, so we had to ask for them and did get some attitude about it one morning.

Actually just ask for free token even if you're not staying on points. They handed them to us w/o even asking.

Oh and remember to pack your own detergent. Save $.
