Laundry view no longer working?

We generally stay in studios and I often need to do at least one load of laundry. Unfortunately, since re-opening, I have noticed that the laundry view system utilized in the resorts no longer lets us see which machines are available and how much time is left on a cycle. Each laundry room just shows "unavailable." I've experienced this at three resorts since June - Kidani, BLT, and BWV. Each time, I put in a work request with the company that maintains the laundry rooms (they have a QR code in the laundry rooms) and also notified the GM.

Have I just had bad luck? Anyone successfully able to see laundry status at other Disney resorts?

Just checked several WDW resorts at Laundryview.com and it is working fine. I'm using Chrome.

I didn't think to check other resorts, lol!

Right now, I see BWV and Kidani are working, but BLT is not, nor is BCV. At the very least, it is unreliable. I am glad I saved up enough points for a nice long trip in a one bedroom summer 2021

That's cool. I just checked AKL Kidani and those are showing as available.

I tried it at 2 resorts in the past, it wasn’t accurate, Poly and BWV. It said available when the machine was actually in use. In both cases, I went back to the laundry room to confirm.

What is this???? We are going to beach club next week and staying in a studio. We’d like to do laundry at least once. Can someone remind me how we do that? Can I bring detergent? Does it cost to run a load? Where r the machines in BCV?? I’ve never done the check the machine thing. ( wish they had this on the cruise ship. It’s usually a long walk to find no machines available!!). Thanks for any help!!

BCV is on the fourth floor. You need your magic band to open the door. No cash required. Bring your own detergent or there may be a machine where you can purchase boxes of detergent.
