laundry service

I know about the Grocery services that deliver but, how about a Laundry service that picks up and delivers your laundry. I know that Disney has their own laundry service but is it very expensive ? I was wondering if anyone knew of an outside laundry company that did this.

Ooh good question! I'll be there alone with DS4 and was trying to figure out how I was going to work out the laundry thing...

Each resort has a laundry service but I have heard that it is expensive much like any other hotel where you but your cloths in a bag and they will send them off to an outside laundry cleaning service. All the resorts have several places to do laundry at and are shown on the maps for the resorts that you are staying at. I believe it is $2 for a washer and $2 to dry (not sure about the prices) and each laundry will have detergent and other products that you can purchase.

It seems like I've heard that the laundry service at Disney runs about $2 per garment.

Do you leave the laundry in the room or do you need to drop it off when using the laundry service and how fast is the turnaround? I still would rather pay someone to do it for me then spend precious fun time doing laundry since we open and close the parks. Thanks so much.

I was looking for a service outside of WDW that does the laundry . Is there anything like that ? Don't ya just hate dealing with laundry ??

I've never heard about an outside laundry service but I'd bet that some company will do it . I've always done my own laundry. I've stayed in 4 Disney hotels and each one had the laundry building at the pool. This way you can put your laundry in and then sit by the pool or go for a swim. It makes it real easy when you have kids. The kids always like going in the pool and you can call them out when you need to move them to the dryer. They can go into the laundry building when they're wet and it only takes a few minutes and then they can go back into the pool. We would plan wash day as our relaxing day or for a late night park day and this way we take it easy in the morning.
