We are staying at All-Star Sports in September (so is everyone else )
What kind of laundry facilities do they have and how much does it cost to wash and dry a load of clothes? Do they have a change machine or should we bring a roll of quarters

They have laundry rooms near the pools. It costs $2 to wash and $2 to dry a load of clothes. They do sell detergents but we always bring our own. We also had the correct change but I believe that they had the change machines. I always have the correct change just in case.

Note that the dryers usually take two cycles to dry so up your cost to $4 for that.

If I have to do laundry on any vacation, I take my own detergent and dryer sheets. I can measure out the exact amount I'll need before I leave, put into a small zipper bag, take my own dryer sheet (definitely not name brand) and put that and the smaller bag into a larger zipper bag. It's flat and can slide into one of the outer pockets of my suitcase so if the bags break, it's on the outside of the suitcase and not inside. You can also put the quarters into the larger zipper bag as well. When you need to do a load of laundry, grab one bag and that's it.

All Star Sports laundries are located by each pool.

I used the laundry room twice two weeks ago at Allstar sports. For me, it did not take two cycles to dry the clothes and it was a mixture of jeans, undergarments, baby clothes, DH's shorts etc. all in one load. The only damp part was the pockets of the jeans. However, do be on the safe side and bring enough change in case you need a second cycle. The change machine was broken all week at the big pool. I don't know if it will be fixed by Sept. The hotel didn't seem concerned that it did not work. The small pool laundry was being refurb. at the end of our stay but I'm sure they are probably done by now. HTH
