I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if RPR has laundry rooms on-site. Not that I will have time to do laundry, :sad2: but it may help me to pack less items. What can I say, :confused3 I always overpack.

RPR has a laundry room on the 2nd floor of Tower 3 and at least one other w/outside entrance on ground floor of one of the other 2 towers. You have to use your room key to access them. They have a vending machine w/Tide products and a $$ changer.

Thank you both for your help. :flower: That is just what I needed to know. I knew someone would know the answer.

there is also a portable clothes line in the hotel rooms at the royal pacific, this will allow you to hang dry your clothes in the bathroom, just don't forget the clothes pins

Excellent! Thanks for this tip too! Since we are driving I was thinking about bringing some sort of drying rack but I didn't want my hubby to think I was nuts!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

A laundry room I thought the little people did that during the night while I slept at least I'm sure I heard my DW mumble something to that effect in more colorful language on our last stay :goodvibes

Gee, and I thought I was the only one who did laundry on vacation! Even got my teen boys to help out last year.........hey, it's mostly their clothes anyway!! I even travel with a roll of quarters at the ready so I don't have to rely on the $$ changer working. And fabric softner sheets as the machine carries detergent but didn't see softner. Oh, and word of advice if you're flying.....let them know at securtity if you're carrying a roll of qtrs. in your purse or carry-on......will save you needless delay through search for that "something metal" that you can't recall having. lol--- wasn't my fault, by the time we were actually packed and out of the house I forgot they were in there! and I didn't want them just in baggage in case someone took a fancy to them....decisions, decisions! lol

Did anyone find that the laundry room was busy at any particular time? We will definitely need to use it in June as we are at the RPH for 14days! (Might get a bit smelly otherwise!)

My DW used the laundry room a couple of times as stayed 14 days as well she went about 8 am and never had a problem

I used laundry room on first floor of Tower II (near pool) on Saturday, April 9th at 10pm. It was empty. Costs $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Socks weren't quite dry after 60 minutes. It was great packing clean clothes.

Every time I tried to use the laundry,...it was busy at RPH...I guess my timing was off.

The only hint I can give you is do your laundry when it is nice outside and people are in the parks.

In August, we were having a down day. The kids were swimming, so I decided to do some laundry in the laundry room by the pool. It was beautiful out and I had the place to myself. I was just putting my stuff in the dryer when a magnificent thunderstorm broke out. Torrents of rain, mesmerizing lightning, etc. By the time my stuff was done, the place was packed with people wanting to do their laundry. There are only 3 machines and 3 dryers in that room, so the wait was pretty long to get a machine.
