Laundry Room

Is there a laundry room located within each DVC building for those who are staying in a studio, or is it usually located only within the attached resort building in the cases where there is one (VWL, for example)?

I have not stayed at VWL, but each DVC resort has complementary laundry facilities for those staying in DVC studios. It is a separate laundry room than for those staying in the non-DVC side of combined resorts.

At OKW for example, there is a laundry room near each pool.

Not sure about VWL, but at OKW each of the 4 pools has a laundry room nearby. The machines look like coin op ones, but they are free. You only have to push the coin slots in with no money inside, and they will start.

VWL has one in the VWL resort. It is on the first floor "behind" the elevators in the end hallway nearest WL...but it is definitely in the VWL resort building.

This will ease DW's mind about the subject. Not that she wants to do laundry on vacation! She just wanted to know the facilities will be there if we need them.

SSR they are located near the pool. The one at the main pool is large, the others very small.

BWV located on the 1st floor.

Funny you should say that....one of the key selling points to DW was the ability to do laundry on vacation right in our villa (1BR or larger, of course). She likes the idea of packing less and not bringing home suitcases full of dirty clothes.

I agree with your DW, Granny! This next trip we "have" to stay at the Dolphin for DH's work. I am dreading having to pack for the entire trip!

Question about the dryers in the villas.
Was it just ours, or does it take forever to dry towels in those dryers?
I probably had 3 hours of drying time even for only 4 towels and washclothes!

going there in august, have you used it there? we are staying in a studio(yes i know a one bedroom had the luxery of washer and dryer( how many of the dryers and washers are there and were they croweded?
