Laundry room on embarkation day

We are taking the WBTA next year and are spending a week pre-cruise in Barcelona. I'd like to do laundry as soon as we board for the rest of the cruise. Are laundry rooms available that early? Thanks.

Laundry rooms are in the same hallways as the staterooms and are blocked until the rooms are ready around 1:30.

We spent several days in Vancouver before boarding for our Alaskan cruise, the laundry room was all ours on boarding day, it was great.
We started a couple loads around 2 and we were all done by the safety drill meeting at 4.

The only people coming in were those looking just to locate it for during the week laundry runs.

I had the same experience as lorimay - very easy to do laundry on boarding day.

I'm up at 4:00AM every morning walking the decks, stairs and doing the laundry. Have every machine to myself. IT'S GREAT!!!!

We did this last year in Alaska, the laundry rooms were very busy.

We did laundry the first morning and we were the only ones in there. Later in the week, it was pretty busy.
