Laundry room at AKL

How big is the laundry room at the AKL? Is it as small as WL? Will I have to do laundry at 4 in the morning!

I can't compare it to WL, but I will say it was smaller than the ones at All Star Sports, and yes, busy. I did mine in the afternoon on sunny days. It seemed the rainy days it was packed.

I think I only had to wait once, for a washer.

I believe AKL has two laundry rooms - one near the pool/Mara elevator, and one on the other side of the resort.

The laundry room on the Kudu Trail, 2nd floor, is less crowded than the one by Simba's Cubhouse and the pool. I did my laundry there on our last trip, and didn't have to wait for machines. It may be a hike, though, if you're not staying on Kudu Trail!

We were closer to the one on the 2nd floor so we used that one and it wasn't crowded at all. Never had to wait for a machine...

I used the one near Simba's clubhouse around 6:00 pm both times I have stayed there and had no problem getting a washer and dryer (actually 2 of each.)
