I can't wait for my vacation 2/1/09! Does anyone know how long it takes to run a load of laundry in OKW 2br DVC? How long for a wash, and how long the dryers take to dry.... I don't get in until 7:00pm ish, but I was hoping that I might have time to "house clean" before the kids go to bed. They are talking about the sleeper sofas, and having their own beds....I just want to make sure everything is tidy for them. Thanks!

Not sure but I run my wash as soon as I get up in the morning and put it in the dryer when we leave for the day. When I get back I zap it for a bit to get out wrinkles and put it away.

The bedding for the sleeper sofa will be sealed in a zipper bag all nicely washed and pressed by mousekeeping. No need to rewash it unless you feel the need to wash the pillows or blanket.

:confused3 Why? These washers and dryers are similar to the ones you might have at home. About 30-40 minutes to wash, about an hour to dry a larger, heavier load. But why on earth would you feel the need to wash clean sheets?

I have the same exact washer and dryer at home 30 minutes for dryer....20 for washer

I would love to have that w/d at home that they have at OKW, awesome. You're right 20min for wash and no more than 30 to dry and that was for jeans.

Thanks for the responses....and no- I am not planning on washing clean sheets. I have been told that sometimes it is easier to wash blankets or towels than to chase after housekeeping....and since I will have access to a washer and dryer, I was curious to how long it would take. Thanks again!

Why would you be washing blankets? And you will get clean towels every four days. I don't think there is any need to "houseclean" the night you get in. Just check in and relax. You are on vacation.
