Laundry in Studios?

Is there a DVC Studio that has a washer/dryer in it?
If none, does anyone know if laundry facilities are available close by for studio DVCers?

No studios have washers and dryers, but they are available, usually near the pool.

Studios do not have washers and dryers. They are available, free of charge, to DVC members. There is a room located in each resort. Depending on where you stay will depend on how far/close to your room.

Really?? Washers and dryers are available for FREE? We are actually staying in a studio for this first trip but seriously considered the 1BR just for the washer and dryer. This would be awesome if they really are available for free.

Your signature shows Kidani Village. The laundry room is on the 2nd floor, across from community hall, near the lobby. The disadvantage is you can't just put your laundry in and leave it when you leave for the day like you can in a 1 bedroom.

At many resorts there aren't very many washers available, maybe only four or so for the entire resort. You may find they are all in use at the time you want to do laundry and you either have to wait or come back later.

Do you know what type of washers are in the 1 br? DH thought we had to buy High Effeciency detergent for our upcoming stay at Kidani. I can't find that info anywhere.
