laundry & dish detergent

We leave Wednesday for our fab 9 day WDW vacation!

Will the villa have dishwasher detergent & laundry detergent, or will we need to bring our own?

You will get dish and laundry soap. Both liquid and dishwasher soap can be replenished for free by calling mousekeeping. You will only get enough laundry soap for one load, which may or may not be replenished when you get trash and towel service. The single box will be replenished on full cleaning day. So you may want to buy or bring additional laundry soap.

Here's what i do each trip:

1) dish soap: little travel ones in a ziplock bag
2) dish washing soap: cascade (and others) make a wonderful tablet! toss as much as you need in a ziplock bag
3) laundry detergent: again w/the ziplock bag: use powder detergent and measure out one "serving" for each bag...no need to bring a measuring tool

with the powder detergent and the liquid dish soap I always double bag!!

Maybe a dumb question- but how big are the machines- single or double load?

Want to make sure I bring enough detergent. Thanks for all your help. We are going next Saturday I can't wait-making a list and checking it twice!

OKW has full size single load machines in the 1 bedroom and larger villas. The others have stackable single load machines.

If you stay in a studio, you won't get any Tide at all. Nor any dishwasher detergent because there is no dishwasher. You should get a small bottle of Palmolive.
