I know this is a silly question, but is there detergent for sale at the laundry areas at the resorts, POFQ in particular? I was going to buy a small container of detergent, enough for a few loads, but I am hoping they just sell it there....

Thanks!

We have not done laundry at the Poly in a couple of years (hand lotion/plane air pressure issue), but it was for sale at that time...

It is for sale in the laundry room as well as the gift shop.

I'm pretty sure I remember them selling it there, but I would recommend you go to Target to the travel toiletries section. They sell Tide there for about $1.50 or so, which is much cheaper than at DW.

2.00 to wash, 2.00 to dry, and 2.00 to purchase a one time use laundry detergent. I would highly recommend bringing some with you especially if you think you are going to do more than one load. also, stock up on some quarters. when i was at por, the change machine didn't have any change left in it.

If you know you're going to be doing laundry, definitely bring a roll of quarters and some detergent. I did 2 loads at Pop and was glad I had my own supplies. The coin machine was empty and people were scrambling around trying to get change at the bar or gift shop. Other people were complaining about how much the detergent cost. I was glad to have been prepared.

I put my detergent in small ziplock bags and put those into a larger ziplock along with some dryer sheets. It didn't leak or take up much room in my luggage. I'll plan on doing it again on our next trip (whenever that is).
