I know there are laundry facilities (by the pool if I remember correctly from the many pages of the great CBR thread I read). Are they coin operated? I just wanted to have the correct change handy. I figured one night we'd do a load and sit by the pool.

MIL wears a lot of handwashables. So just in case we want to dry something out in our room, should I bring some string and clothespins? Can I hang the string from the rod that holds the bathroom curtain?

Thanks for your help.

The machines at CBR are coin-operated. From what I remember, it costs either $1 or $2 each. Its kind of pricey. What we usually do is bring those laundry tablets to do it with. These are easy to pack and it means that we don't have to buy detergent there.

You should be able to hang the string from the rod that holds the bathroom curtain. I can't remember where the towel bar is located so you could string it properly. Maybe someone else has pictures...

Hope that this helps...:D

There actually is an extendable drying cord in/over the shower in most of the WDW resort room bathrooms.

Bruce (Who will be at CBR in December if the AP rates are ever released)

Does anyone know if coin change machines are available in the laundry room?

Change machines are available in the laundry rooms. We used them not only for laundry, but also for quarters for the pressed penny machines!

It was $2/wash, $2/half hour drying time. I spent $4 on each load to dry. I would have done more laundry, but $6/load is a bit much.
