Laundry at VWL

We are leaving soon for our first visit to our home resort! I have 1 question though.
We are staying in a studio, so do we do our laundry at the Lodge and is it free for us?
If so, how do we go about doing this?

Yes and yes. You can do your laundry at the Lodge and it is free (except for the detergent if you don't bring it). The laundry room is on the first floor around the corner from the elevators. There is no charge to use the washers or dryers. Their are two of each.

Is that free laundry facility available for all the WL guests as well? I don't remember having seen this on previous visits, but then again we weren't really looking.

The laundry facilities I am talking about are in the Villas building and probably intended for DVC members and guests.

so then the WLV don't have the individual washer/dryers in each room like the BWI?

All One bedroom, two bedroom and Grand Villas have thier own washer and dryers in the rooms. It is only the studios that do not have them inside the room.
