Me and two other siblings lucked out big time when one brother finally got fed up with our not doing the dishes to his satisfaction and struck a deal with Mom that he alone would do the dishes for a year (except when Dad does them, which he does sometimes) in exchange for an NFL jersey. I loathe and despise doing dishes, so his OCD fixation on the dishes being Rinsed Thoroughly and put in the dishwashe just right has been a good thing from my POV. I do feel bad for him sometimes, but he says that he hates the way we do dishes and would really rather it be this way, so, what's to complain about?
I do laundry every once in a while. No one has that specific job right now, so if somebody needs clean clothes right away or for something specific they'll do a load with their stuff and whatever else is nearby to fill up the washing machine, and most of the time the same person will put the load into the dryer but not always. Sometimes Mom folds the clothes, others we all do (or one person gets asked/told/payed to do it).
