Trying to finalize my itinerary for mid July. We saw Billy Hill last year and Loved it! Wanted to see it again, but it's not showing on the day we wanted. Instead it's Laughing stock. Is Laughing Stock good? Is it worth bumping Billy Hill for? We can switch the itinerary around to see Billy Hill another day, but before I go through all of that, I wanted to get opinions???

Thank you so much!
Brianna

laughing stock is good but I love billy hill more.

I think Billy Hill is far superior.
Hopefully you will get to see both. ;)

Billy Hill all the way!
Long Live Elvis Billy!

are their more then one Billy? and if so how do you know who is performing when?

thanks,
Jean

I like Laughing Stock, though I guess I'm a little partial to it since they picked my daughter twice for their show. Billy Hill is good so I try to see both shows since they're on different days.

Billy Hill is terrific!

Laughing Stock is lame, not worth the time it takes to see it.

JMHO,
Bob

Billy Hill is great and I didnt think laughing stock was that good.

Would someone tell me where you see either Billy Hill or Laughing Stock? I'm not familiar with them, and we are going to be at DLR in 11 days!:banana:

Laughing Stock is funny as heck, but Billy Hill is absolutely side splittin hilarious. I can watch every show and still laugh my butt off!!

Both of these shows are at the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. You can find their times on the Disneyland website for park entertainment. You can order food (counter service style) to eat while you are watching, or you can just go sit. Tables fill up fast though! And the food line seems to move slow, so allow plenty of time before the show, if you plan on eating while there.

Billy Hill and the Hillbillies are one group (and they're all named Bill.) If you see them scheduled, you'll get the same group for all noted times.

I would see either performance, but definitely see Billy Hill if you can! They're so awesome!

During the busy months we found it was best to get a table right AFTER the show ended and stay to wait for the next show. The draw of an A/C'd room, ice cream and food makes the Golden Horseshoe a popular place and tables can be scarce.

Kinda right, kinda wrong. the same group of Billys performs on any particular day--but there are two "teams" of Billys and which day you go depends no which Billys you get. Unfortunately, I don't know the schedule of who performs when.

Oh! My timing must have been 'right on' because I saw the same team for the last three trips. What odds, huh! :confused3

Is Billy Hill something a 4-year-old would appreciate? I know Laughing Stock would be over her head and not terribly interesting.

My DD loves Billy Hill! She claps along and thinks its great. She was 3 when she last saw it. Now she sees I think its a Geico commercial on TV with the old guy playing the fiddle and says "hey mom thats the billy hill show" There is a fan website that gives you the different teams of Billys. ladydisneyland.com I believe.

Last Oct when we saw this, our kids were 4 and 6 and they didn't really 'get it' but they enjoyed the music part (the humor was over their head), but they still were grateful for a break and they had food to eat while watching, so they were fine with it. They also have ice cream, so that's a bonus for kids if you just want a treat and watch the show. It's only a 25 min show.

Thank you! I think we'll have to go see Billy Hill based on all of your recommendations.
