Laughing Place Name Badges

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the proper board, but I saw another post like this and I have one question:

I already have one of the red Disney Guest Of Honor name badges, but I LOVE the Villians badge offered at The Laughing Place. However, I'm leaving in 3 days so I cannot order one.

Are these same name badges offered at the park?

Last July I went to Downtown Disney, the pin store they have there, and did not see ONE name badge. I was specifically looking for them to purchase them for my friend's kids'. I Looked all over Downtown Disney to no avail.

Check the Christmas Shop in DTD, and the 5 & 10 shop at MGM. Those are the places where I have found them.

The Christmas shop has quite a selection of different characters for the name badges. They are in the back of the shop.

Is it my whack job mind, or is it a really stupid move on Disney's part to make the Christmas shop the only place to get these things in Downtown Disney?

If I hasn't seen this, and I wanted one - I NEVER would have thought to look at the Christmas Shop!
