Laughing Place Alternative?

Four weeks ago I ordered a Guest of Honor badge from the Laughing Place for a fairly common name. This week, I received an email from them saying "our Shopping Service was unable to find all of the items you orderd. The item is currently not available at the theme parks."
Do I have any alternatives? Is there somewhere I can order one and have it waiting for us at AKL when we arrive in a couple of weeks?

YOu can order it from Disneyworld.

I'd never order from Laughing place or Main Street megastore. THese people buy the items retail price at WDW and then charge you double...

Thanks Sherri. I just tried calling Disney Merchandise and they told me that they don't sell GOH badges. I asked if they could give me the number of 12 Days of Christmas at DTD, as I read in another post that they would deliver to your resort. The gentleman advised that they don't have a direct number and that they don't ship.
Sigh. I'll try again. Maybe a different CM will know different info. THAT never happens!!! Tee hee.

I recall reading somewhere (may have been on one of the other boards here) that Disneyworld is currently out of the GOH badges. I'm hoping they have them back in stock when we're there in a few weeks!

I've always had great luck with Laughing Place store. They're not as outrageously priced as Mainstreet Megastore. It's too bad that it took them so long to notify you of not being able to fulfill your order. They don't sell them out of their stock though, it's actually a park shopping service that they provide. They go right to the DTD Marketplace and purchase them for you. I know that it's been reported on these boards for the past month that the GOH badges were on backorder at Disney.

Unfortunately, they purchase directly from Disney also and have not had any availability for the past month or so.

This is what I did, I called the main WDW phone # and asked to be transferred to the 12 days of Christmas store in DTD. I placed my order there and they sent them over to our WDW resort gift shop where I will pick them up in Dec. The 12 days of Christmas also offered to ship the GOH badges to me but, to save the shipping fee, I asked them to send it over to my hotel gift shop. The hotel gift shop called me less then a week later and told me that the GOH badges had arrived and were waiting for us at the gift shop. The total cost was 6 US per GOH badge plus Fl. state tax. There were no s/h charges to ship them over to the WDW resort. The 12 days of Christmas store also gave me a tracking #. The womans name (at the 12 days of Christmas) was Marina and she seemed very intelligent.
