Laugh until your sides hurt funny movies

I don't watch too many movies. I've seen all the ones mentioned except for maybe Rat Race.

I was kind of liking those Tyler Perry "Madea" movies last year. The Madea character is pretty darn funny and the movies also have a good, serious story behind them. You might try them if you haven't already.

"The Money Pit" -- I still crack up every time I see it. :lmao:
"The Naked Gun" (first one was the best)
"Young Frankenstein"
"On Golden Pond" -- I know this is also a touching movie, but Henry Fonda is hilarious as the crotchety old man. :rotfl:

I'm a huge Bill Murray fan. So...

Caddyshack
What about Bob?
Groundhog Day
Scrooged
Stripes
Meatballs
Osmosis Jones

Everytime I see the movie "Rhinestone" with Sylverster Stallone, i laugh until i cry. Especially the scene when he sings "Drinkinstein". Sylvester Stallone trying to become a country singer, just has funny written all over it.

This one is sort of old, but hysterical, "Noises Off". Another old but good one is "Airplane" lol. Both have me laughing. :rotfl:

Zoolander is very funny if you like Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. I love it! lol.

Try it....You will like it!:thumbsup2

It was released a week or 2 before 9/11/01! No one was paying much attention to the movies then. I had rented it on DVD, and :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Very silly Very Funny...and something the kids can watch too!:thumbsup2

Oh, how could I forget this one!! This is a classic for me. I've watched it a number of times and Ben Stiller's "dumbness" CRACKS me up in this one. You can actually buy this DVD at Target for about $5.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Stripes
Animal House
Midnight Run
Seems Like Old Times
The In-Laws (with Peter Falk and Alan Arkin)
16 Candles

I'm watching the Ringer right now and laughing so much my sides hurt and I've seen this a few times! Funny funny movie!

40-year old Virgin and Knocked Up left me in pain too!

What about Bob?

Thanks, I went with this one. I wanted something the kids could watch with me. I've seen this before, but its been years. I'm going to pop some popcorn on the stove (too scared of microwave popcorn now :scared1: ) and we'll all sit down and watch it tonight.

Gonna bookmark this thread for future use. I don't watch near enough comedies, and laughter is such good medicine. :goodvibes

I always crack up at basically any of the Austin Powers movies. Then again, Mike Myers just REALLY makes me laugh.

I also like Never Been Kissed with Michael Vartan and Drew Barrymore. The Holiday is a good one too. Not necessarily kill you with laughter funny but funny parts. It has Jack Black in it, he's very sweet but hilarious in this movie.

Knocked up. :lmao:

I hated Knocked Up. Not sure why. I'm usually pretty unpicky with movies, and I at least like almost every movie I watch, if not love it. But for whatever reason I just found Knocked Up very UN-funny. The male main character just rubbed me the wrong way, as did the female main character's sister. I watched it through to the end, and didn't laugh one time. Oh wait, I take that back, I did laugh when Ryan Seacrist was on a tangent in the beginning, but that was the only time I laughed.

I didn't even laugh once during this movie, and I usually like the "stupid" funny movies.

I also thought the use of the "F" word went WAY overboard and unnecessary! I'm not a prude, by any means, but why say it just to say it?

I was going to shut it off, but, kept thinking it would get better. Boy, was I wrong!

Opps, most of my suggestions were adult ones. Some of my favorites for family time are

Mystery Men

She's the man

Its a Mad Mad world

Time Bandits

The Road to El Dorado

Shrek

All of these movies had me laughing so hard I could barely breathe:

Noises Off
Borat
Weekend At Bernie's
Fargo
Blind Date (Bruce Willis & Kim Basinger)
Kingpin
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Austin Powers Goldmember
