I know, more Michael Jackson news. I just wonder though, does she live in London? Or is it that Michael is more popular in London, especially given the tour that was upcoming?

I also heard on the news that she was paid for the interview. For which I don't really have an opinion on but I'm just wondering why it was a London paper that got the interview? Basically I'm nosey.

LONDON — Two British Sunday newspapers said LaToya Jackson believes her brother Michael Jackson was murdered by a group of conspirators trying to get hold of his fortune.

LaToya Jackson said she knows who is responsible for her brother's death and is determined to see them brought to justice, the News of the World reported.

According to the published interviews with The News of the World and The Mail on Sunday, she did not name any of the people she believes were involved and did not offer any evidence to support her claim that foul play was involved in the singer's sudden death on June 25.

"I feel it was all about money," she was quoted as saying by the News of the World. "Michael was worth well over a billion in music publishing assets and somebody killed him for that. He was worth more dead than alive."
She reportedly said the conspirators used powerful prescription drugs to keep Michael Jackson submissive and under control and also kept him away from his family.

She also claimed, the newspapers reported, that roughly $2 million (1.23 million pounds) worth of cash and jewelry was taken from Michael Jackson's rented mansion and has not been accounted for.

LaToya Jackson also was quoted as saying her brother did not want to perform the 50 London shows he had agreed to, but was pressured into that agreement.

The shows, to mark Michael Jackson's return to concert performing, had been scheduled to begin Monday at London's 02 Arena.

Officials are waiting for the return of toxicology reports before determining the cause of Michael Jackson's death.

Responding to the highlighted part- Is she going to testify against her father? He's the biggest money sucking leech I've seen in a long time.

I don't take ANYTHING she says seriously. My first thoughts when I read/heard what she said was that I was surprised it took her so long to sell out her brother, for 15 minutes more of lackluster fame. What a Be-atch.

Plus if what she says has any truth to it, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, why would she possibly screw up the investigations, talking about it. It will really discredit the information, won't it? I don't think MJ was murdered- I do think the Drs involved will have manslaughter charges, as well they should.

If a doctor injected him with prescription drugs which was a direct cause of his death, I would say you have a case there.

As far as the "more dead than alive" that is true however the doctor may not be making a profit from his death. So I find that line of thinking not matching up. You will need to make a case there. Connect the drug dealers to the producers paying them off to off Michael to keep him sedated. You would need proof.

Interesting, thanks for the replies. I really hadn't thought about some of other points. I was focusing on why LaToya gave the interview and why a London paper. But yeah, if she was paid then wasn't that sort of making money off her own brother's death too?

hentobob - I like your line about working when we don't want to so we can pay our bills. Isn't that the truth!! When I think about all the money I've spent on Disney trips, Disney "stuff" ....

I think that she should hire OJ to help her search for the killers.HOLD IT!! Just wait a little minute here then again where was OJ on July 25th? I mean this is a glove related crime and who knows gloves better than OJ. I know he is in jail but he is good at being at two places at once so possibly we are on to something.

If there is truth in this, it helps explain why his doctor waited 30 minutes to call for help and why he did cpr on a bed.
I fully believe he was surrounded by leaches and hangers-on and probably even worse.

His addictions killed him. The people around him probably were parasitic worms, but like most parasites, they would have had more to gain by keeping hiim alive than by killing him off. The doctors probably share some responsibility because they should have been more aware, but that doesn't mean they intentionally caused his death. The family is grieving (even LaToya, who is a whackadoodle) and they are grasping for someone or something to blame. It is a natural reaction to losing someone to addiction.

This has bothered my all along. You don't have to be a doctor to know that you don't do CPR on the bed. I'm surprised people haven't made more of an issue about this.

There were lots of reasons for people to want MJ dead, I can understand why LaToya believes what she believes. Although LaToya does have a credibility issue in my opinion especially after she was on that Cop show with Jack Osborne and Erik Estrada and got tasered but I digress.....

The first weekend after MJ died, Geraldo also stated he believed that MJ could have been 'murdered'. The doctor with MJ when he died was being paid by the concert promoters. The promoters had a HUGE insurance policy on MJ's concerts which covered accidental overdose and suicide as payable in case of death.

Now, there are some people that believe the promoters knew MJ would never be able to complete the entire 50 show run and this way they wouldn't lose any money on the deal if MJ died....

Of course, with everyone coming out with info on MJ's drug problem now, it is easy to sidetrack the public with the possibility that MJ was allowed to die.....The fact the doctor let didn't call 911 for 30 minutes doesn't help the arguement.

This is the reason the Jackson's ordered a second autopsy...
