Latest waitlist...?

What is the latest you have waited before getting your waitlist. We have booked all but the last nite of our stay at the VGC. We leave on April 8th and still have not gotten our last nite. do you think there is still a chance that it might come through? Is it possible that nite might be available once we arrive? (We have the nite booked at a nearby hotel just in case)

I'm not experienced with this - but I'm pretty sure I've seen postings saying that the waitlist cancels and you have to re-up at something like 30 days out.... did you do that? If not, you may no longer be on a waitlist. You may want to search the threads....

I did reactivate the waitlist at the 31 day mark and it is still active until 7 days before. Just wondering if anyone has ever had a waitlist come through that close to their date...especially at VGC

Last month my husband and I had our waitlist come through at the VGC. It was less than two weeks before the date. It was for a Saturday night. We were totally surprised it did! We couldn't believe that it came through but we were very happy it did. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you!! :
