What is the latest we should schedule dinner, if we want to see the early fireworks show in May/June? We were aiming to eat dinner between 6:30-7pm. We don't have to have the best spot, but we'd like to be able to see them. Will we also be able to see the MSEP?

If you look at the event calendar you can see what time they are. The end of May the parade starts at 9 I believe followed by the fireworks... We made 7PM CRT reservations and it was 2 hours before the parade and fireworks start. I think that should be plenty of time.

It depends on whether you're planning on dining in the park or if you have to allow travel time back to the park.

Assuming you're dining in the park with the fireworks, I generally allow between 75 and 90 minutes for an in-park TS meal. That allows time to be seated and dine at a normal pace. Given that, I would aim to make a dining reservation for between 2 to 3 hours before fireworks is scheduled to start. My feeling is that it would be better to finish up early, rather than be running late and watching the clock the entire meal.
