latest time to get off ship?

I know I've seen it before on here, but now that we're sailing soon I'm trying to remember what time is the latest we can disembark our last morning? We have a van meeting us at 8:30. I'm thinking that seems a little early, since we have to retrieve our luggage first. We have a late afternoon flight out of MCO so we aren't in any hurry. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

On my first trip, we were the last ones (literally) off the boat at 9 am. This past January, everyone was off by 9:30 am. Hope it helps.

We just got off the Magic yesterday and they wanted everyone off by 9:00 am.

It does seem rather cruel to kick you out of your "home" that early (9:00am), but they do insist!

It also depends upon what you decide to do for breakfast. If you just grab a quick bite from a small buffet, you can be out even earlier.

If you are planning on the sit down breakfast, you go by your dinner seating time. If you have the 6:00 seating you have the first breakfast seating at something like 6:45. If you have the later seating, you have the second breakfast seating. I think it is at 8:00. My mind isn't very awake yet this morning!

Disembarking is a breeze. If you are in the later group, it is very easy to find your luggage!!! It took us no longer than 15 min. to do this plus going through customs.

We scheduled our pick up for 9:00am so that we could take our time.

How long does it take to get back to MCO?

Once the bus fills up (if you take DCL Transportation) or you get your luggage and into your own vehicle -depending on how fast you drive and the traffic conditions, it's about a 45 minute to 1 hour drive.

When we used DCL transportation, we got off the ship as soon as possible to catch the first bus and get a 10:30AM - 11:00AM flight. Never had a problem, but it's Russian Roulette and stressful! Foolishly we also used to get the AM flight out of Indy the day of our cruise - but not doing that anymore due to stories of missed cruises due to flight schedules, weather, etc.

Enjoy the cruise and don't stress out before or after!
